Reaching here. Pastor Rick Carter Sr. has been involved in church planting for close to 40 years. He was used by God to start 9 churches in western Kansas throughout the 80’s and 90’s. In 2001 he started Lighthouse Baptist Church in Mustang, OK and pastored there for 13 years. In 2014 he and Pastor Carter Jr. were burdened for Oklahoma City and determined that with God’s help, they would be used to start churches in the Oklahoma City area.

Shane & Jericho both grew up in Christian homes with parents in full time ministry. Shane was saved at the age of eleven, and Jericho was saved at the age of seventeen.

They have been members of Beth Haven Baptist Church since 2014 and have been involved in many different ministries.

In October of 2019, Shane & Jericho went on a missions trip to England. While there, God opened their eyes to the need and burdened their hearts. After the missions trip Shane began to pray, “Here am I Lord, send me” and on August 2, 2020 in the Sunday AM service, God told him, “It is time”. On the way home Shane shared with Jericho what God had spoken to him about. Over the course of a month, they fasted and prayed with Pastor Carter about God’s leading and during that time God gave clear direction and peace to go to England as missionaries.

Matthew Keller was raised in a Christian home. He made a false profession of faith early in his life, and when God opened his eyes to his sinful condition he was saved at the age of 31. After serving in his church for many years God called him to help in the church planting ministry of Beth Haven Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. After helping in 2 church plants God called Matthew to be a missionary to Italy. Matthew graduated from Beth Haven Baptist Seminary in 2022 and went with his family to Italy for a 3 month internship.

Andrea Keller was raised in a church planters home in western Kansas. After trusting Christ in her teens, she surrendered to God’s will for her life. After graduating from Bible college she served the Lord in several different capacities. Matthew and Andrea got married on January 14, 2006.

Since then they have served the Lord together.

In 2016, God allowed Matthew and Andrea to adopt Angus. They look forward to what God has in store for their lives.

A church plant out of Beth Haven Baptist Church, Friendship Baptist Church is located in Nacogdoches, Texas. Pastor Kirk Lewis was the first Associate Pastor at Beth Haven Baptist Church, and followed the Lord with his wife Janice to start Friendship Baptist Church. Nacogdoches is the collegetown to Stephen F. Austin State University and is budding with potential having a great need for the Gospel!

A church plant out of Beth Haven Baptist Church, Rose Rock Baptist Church is located in Noble, Oklahoma. Pastor Dustin Isom is a graduate of Beth Haven Baptist Seminary and has seen God grow the church in great ways!

Rose Rock Baptist Church held its first service on November 5, 2017. In church planting, there are always times of growing and times of pruning – but Rose Rock has continued to faithfully reach out into their community with the Gospel relying on God to give the increase in His time. God has great things in store for this work in Noble!

Our mission is to preach the Word, reach the lost, teach the saints, make a difference, and most importantly glorify God.

A church plant out of Beth Haven Baptist Church, Grace Independent Baptist Church is located in central Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bro. Marshall Dies, who was previously a missionary to Mexico, also served in El Paso, TX before moving to Beth Haven Baptist Church. He is working alongside our Church Planting Missionary, Rick Carter, Sr., to see God establish this work. Upon organization, Bro. Marshall Dies will become the pastor at Grace Independent Baptist Church. We’re extremely excited to see God work miracles! There has been nearly a dozen saved and baptized in their first several months – God is so Good!
