Nursery Ministry
We have a clean and well equipped nursery, and caring competent workers that oversee the nursery in every service. Our nursery pager system allows parents to be notified if their child has a need. We also offer a mothers room at the back of the auditorium for nursing mothers or those who would choose to keep their young children with them.
Sunday School Ministry
Our Sunday School is graded to provide a quality suitable learning environment for each child. Our classes begin with 2 & 3 year olds and continue through the adult ages. Children’s classes include nursery, 2-3 year olds, 4-5 year olds, 6-8 year olds, 9-12 year old boys and girls, and 13 year old – 12th grade. Our adult singles department has three classes including College and Career, Adult Singles, and Senior Singles classes. Our adult couples classes are based on life stages with classes for young families, couples without children, empty nesters, and senior couples. The teaching for all of our classes is strait from the Bible and is organized in an understandable format to help you get the most from the studies.
Preaching and Teaching Ministry
Dr. Rick Carter, our pastor, believes in keeping a straightforward and clear presentation of the Word. In each service we take a thoughtful and spiritual look at the Bible as we progress through the study of various books of the Bible.
Food Pantry Ministry
We have a monthly food pantry to help those in need in our community. Our goal is to feed you both physically and spiritually. We invite you to come visit us on the 3rd Saturday of each month, between 10:00 AM and Noon, at the north door of the main building.
Music Ministry
We believe in and practice a traditional style of music, not because we could do nothing else, but because we have found that the old hymns and spiritual songs of the faith have a deep meaning, and a profound impact upon the spirit when we tune our hearts to their message and our attention to God.
Missions Ministry
Each year through participating in Faith Promise Missions within our church we have been enabled to extend the reach of our worldwide missions ministry. At present we support the work of over 60 missionaries around the world on a monthly basis. We also endeavor to take a church missions trip each summer to extend our vision and burden for the lost around our world. See more about the mission works we support by clicking here.
Bus Ministry
While we have a world vision for the lost we have kept our vision for those next door. For that reason we run a bus both Sunday morning and Wednesday evening to pick up both children and adults in our community that could not otherwise attend church services. Our bus workers are dedicated and caring. For a ride to church just call the church office and we would be more than glad to arrange a ride!
Children’s Ministries
Our children’s ministries go beyond our Sunday school program and include both a Sunday morning children’s church with real Bible teaching and preaching, as well as a mid-week program called Light Brigade. The Light Brigade program is designed to help the children learn discipline and memorize Scripture as they work through the Light Brigade work books.
Youth Ministries
Our youth ministry has two main philosophies that guide its direction. First, that the youth are a part of the church as a whole and not a church unto themselves; We believe that too often when young people have gotten out of the youth department they have had little identity with the whole church and leave when their connection with the church was severed after graduation. Secondly, that it is not the job of the youth ministry to raise the children, but to turn their hearts toward their parents and teach them to honor their fathers and mothers for their spiritual growth and mentoring.

K-12 Academy
Our academy uses the Abeka video curriculum. Our students are members of our church or church plants. Responsibility and respect are our watchwords for this school year.
Addictions Ministry
Pastor Rick Carter Jr. wrote what is called the H.O.P.E. Addictions program (Helping Other Put off Entanglements). Based on biblical truths, Pastor Carter put God’s real, working plan for overcoming addictions into an easy to understand program. We also offer this program freely for other Independent Baptist churches to use and customize for their own needs. If you are interested in visiting the local H.O.P.E. meeting at Beth Haven Baptist Church, we meet every Wednesday at 6:30 PM and Friday at 7:00 PM. C.A.L.M. Grief Support Ministry
C.A.L.M. stands for Care After Loss Ministry and was written by Dr. T.J. Hawkins who was on our staff at the time when he wrote the program. Dr. Hawkins spent several years as a chaplain for hospice and has helped many people deal with the loss of loved ones through the application of the Word of God. When visiting you can expect a relaxed setting, people sharing their own stories, and time examining the truths laid out in the C.A.L.M. program. We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
Bible Seminary
We provide a full Bible institute at a reasonable tuition cost. This ministry is designed to help those who either feel called to further service for God, or just want to prepare for being more usable to the Lord. Biblical Counselors Seminary
We offer a unique program of Biblical counseling. Dr. Mike Hays, a Biblical counselor for over 30 years, put together a curriculum to train other men and women to be truly Biblical counselors. This program, as well as our Bible Seminary, is available at a low cost of tuition, and for those who are already on a church staff it is available by correspondence. Pastor Carter and Beth Haven Baptist Church are strongly committed to training and sending out Biblical Counselors all around the world.
Biblical Counseling Ministry
In addition to our school for training Biblical Counselors we have a Biblical Counseling center here at our church. What is Biblical Counseling? Biblical counseling is the application of the Bible to the issues of life. 2 Peter 1:3-4 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” We believe that God’s Word has the answers for all of the issues that we face in life. Through the application of God’s Word we have seen countless individuals and families find peace and restore relationships that were damaged by sin.
