Nursery Ministry
Our nursery is clean, safe, and thoughtfully equipped, with caring and experienced workers available during every service. Parents can enjoy peace of mind knowing our nursery pager system will notify them if their child needs them. We also offer a comfortable mothers’ room at the back of the auditorium for nursing mothers or for those who prefer to keep their young children nearby.
Sunday School Ministry
Our Sunday School is designed with your whole family in mind, offering a welcoming and engaging environment for every age group. Classes begin with 2- and 3-year-olds and continue all the way through adults, so there’s a place for everyone to learn and grow.
For children, we offer age-appropriate classes including nursery, ages 2–3, 4–5, 6–8, and 9–12 (with separate classes for boys and girls), as well as teen a class for ages 13 through 12th grade.
Adults can enjoy classes tailored to their stage of life. Our singles ministry includes College & Career, Adult Singles, and Senior Singles. For couples, we offer classes for singles, empty nesters, and senior couples.
No matter the class, our goal is the same; to teach the Bible in a clear, helpful way that encourages you and helps you apply God’s Word to everyday life. We’d love for you to join us!
Preaching and Teaching Ministry
Pastor Joshua Carter is committed to sharing God’s Word in a clear, straightforward, and meaningful way. In every service, he leads us through thoughtful, Bible-centered teaching as we study and grow together through different books of the Bible.
Music Ministry
We embrace a traditional style of music because we’ve found that the timeless hymns and spiritual songs of the faith carry deep meaning and lasting impact. As we sing, our hearts are drawn to their message and our focus is lifted to God, creating a reverent and meaningful time of worship.
Missions Ministry
Each year, through Faith Promise Missions, our church family has the opportunity to help expand the reach of the gospel around the world. By God’s grace, we currently support over 75 missionaries on a monthly basis.
We also seek to grow our heart for missions by taking a church missions trip each year, giving us a firsthand opportunity to serve and share the gospel.

Bus Ministry
While we have a vision for reaching the world, we also have a heart for those right here in our community. That is why we provide bus transportation on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for both children and adults who may not otherwise be able to attend.
Our bus workers are caring, dependable, and dedicated to serving each person they pick up. If you or someone you know would like a ride to church, please call our church office. We would be happy to help arrange it for you!
Children’s Ministries
Our children’s ministries go beyond Sunday School to provide fun, meaningful opportunities for kids to learn and grow. On Sunday mornings, we offer Children’s Church with clear, engaging Bible teaching and preaching designed just for them.
During our mid-week service, kids can be part of our Light Brigade program; a structured and exciting time where they learn discipline, hide God’s Word in their hearts through Scripture memory, and grow as they work through their Light Brigade workbooks.
Youth Ministries
Our youth ministry is guided by two key principles. First, we believe young people are an important part of the church as a whole; not a separate church of their own. Our goal is to help them build lasting connections within the entire church family, so their faith continues to grow long after they graduate.
Second, we believe the youth ministry is here to support, not replace, the role of parents. We seek to encourage young people to love, honor, and respect their parents, while pointing them to the guidance and spiritual leadership found in the home.
Through these principles, our desire is to see young people grow into strong, grounded Christians who are connected, committed and prepared for lifelong faith.

Our academy uses the Abeka video curriculum to provide a strong, Christ-centered education. Our students come from our church and local church plants, creating a close-knit and encouraging learning environment.
This year, we are focusing on building character through our two guiding values: responsibility and respect. We seek to develop these qualities in each student both in and out of the classroom.
Pastor Rick Carter Jr. developed the H.O.P.E. Addictions Program |Helping Others Put Off Entanglements| to offer real help and lasting hope for those struggling with addiction. Built on biblical truth, this program presents God’s plan for overcoming addiction in a clear, practical, and easy-to-understand way.
We are also glad to offer this program as a resource for other Independent Baptist churches to use and adapt for their own ministries.

C.A.L.M. Grief Support Ministry
C.A.L.M., Care After Loss Ministry, was developed by Dr. T.J. Hawkins during his time on our staff. After serving for several years as a hospice chaplain, Dr. Hawkins has helped many people navigate the loss of loved ones through the comfort and truth of God’s Word.
When you attend, you’ll find a relaxed and supportive setting where people can share their experiences, find encouragement, and spend time learning helpful biblical truths from the C.A.L.M. program.

We provide a full Bible Seminary at a reasonable tuition cost. This ministry is designed to help those who either feel called to further service for God, or just want to prepare for being more usable to the Lord. Biblical Counselors Seminary
We offer a unique program in biblical counseling designed to provide real help from God’s Word. Dr. Mike Hays, who had over 30 years of experience in biblical counseling, developed a curriculum to train men and women to counsel in a truly biblical and practical way.
This program, along with our Bible Seminary, is available at an affordable tuition cost. For those already serving on a church staff, it can also be completed through correspondence, making it accessible no matter your schedule or location.
Pastor Josh Carter and Beth Haven Baptist Church are deeply committed to equipping and sending out trained biblical counselors to serve churches and communities around the world.
Biblical Counseling Ministry
In addition to our school for training Biblical Counselors we have a Biblical Counseling center here at our church. What is Biblical Counseling? Biblical counseling is the application of the Bible to the issues of life. The Bible reminds us in 2 Peter 1:3-4 says: “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” We believe that God’s Word has the answers for all of the issues that we face in life. Through the application of God’s Word we have seen countless individuals and families find peace and restore relationships that were damaged by sin. If you or someone you know is looking for real answers, we would be glad to help you find truth through the Word of God.
Spanish Ministry
We offer a Spanish ministry every Sunday at 6:00 PM, led by Bro. Marshall Dies, who served as a missionary to Mexico for several years. This service is designed to provide clear, Bible-centered teaching in a welcoming and encouraging environment for Spanish-speaking individuals and families.
